How did you start modelling?

It all started quite early for me. I was approached on the street when I was 14 and instantly joined my first agency.

Did anything funny ever happen to you while you were on a modelling job?

I’m sure it did. The thing is, unfortunately, I can’t remember it.

Has anybody ever told you that you look like somebody else?

Some people think I look a little bit like Christa Théret.

Do you have any nicknames?

There’s quite a few, most of them start in a similar way. Jussy, Justy, Jojo. The real tough ones call me Justus.

If you could invite anybody in the world to dinner, who would it be?

Unfortunately no longer of this world: Schopenhauer and Orwell. I would really love to have a talk with them and philosophize.

Which Disney character are you the most like?

Alice. Sometimes I have the feeling I live between worlds.

What is your summer style?

This very much depends on my mood. Sometimes I feel like girly stuff, so I might wear a skirt with a cute top. Other days I’m trying to play it cool and rock cut-offs and a leather jacket.

Favourite song to play on the ukelele?

I never thought before about my favourite song on the uke.. but I think I like Kids from MGMT the most.

Questions from Marusja

What do you like what others don’t think is cool?

My teddybear.

Your watching TV. What’s on?

I don’t watch TV. But if I feel like watching something, I stream Arte on my computer.

Where do you go out in Berlin?

I like hanging out in bars with my friends. Most of the time though, someone’s house is empty so we can have a party there.

How can one make you happy?

With honesty, books, and tea.

What pisses you off?

Constant indecisiveness and gossip.

Justyna was photographed and interviewed in June 2013.
